Max started his martial arts journey back in 2012, training in traditional styles like karate, aikido, and judo. In 2017, he shifted his focus to wrestling, competing in NCAA Division III and racking up over 50 matches in just two seasons.Since 2021, Max has been diving deep into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — and he’s already made waves, earning an expert-level NAGA absolute title in both Gi and No-Gi competition.
As a coach, Max brings a unique edge: he specializes in adapting folkstyle wrestling for BJJ, giving students a practical, competition-proven grappling system built on years of cross-discipline experience.
