Esteban Salinas

Born in Chile and shaped by the roots of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Coach Esteban Salinas brings over 20 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience to the mats. After beginning his journey in Chile, Esteban moved to the U.S. to continue sharpening his craft and sharing his knowledge.

A first-degree black belt under Robson Moura, Esteban has spent 15+ years coaching, developing students of all levels with a technical, hands-on approach that helps each athlete build their own unique style.

Accomplishments include:
• First-degree black belt under Robson Moura
• Competed in Vale Tudo
• Professional MMA fighter
• 4-time National Chilean BJJ Champion
• IBJJF NY Open Silver Medalist
• Active Masters IBJJF competitor

The energy in the gym is always super positive — you can really feel it as soon as you walk in. The coach (Danny) sets the tone perfectly. He does an amazing job making everyone feel included, and he’s very approachable, personable, and transparent.

Danny’s Muay Thai classes cover everything — technique, conditioning, and even the clinch. He’s a well-rounded practitioner and coach, and honestly, it’s impressive how humble he is given all of his professional accomplishments across Muay Thai and BJJ. The workouts will definitely get you into shape too.

He’s also fantastic with kids — he knows how to make the classes fun, engaging, and age-appropriate while still teaching discipline and skill. I really look forward to getting my children involved in the gym when they’re ready because I know they’ll be in great hands.

Whether you’re looking to get fit, learn self-defense, train recreationally, or compete, there’s truly a place for everyone here. I highly recommend this gym and couldn’t be happier training here.
